ISPs: how ISPs contribute to today's hyperconnectivity

Internet providers (ISPs) are companies that provide telecommunication services such as: access to data transfers and telephone connection or even cable television.
The ISPs, through their commercial alliances, became a fundamental part of the distribution of the Internet and help to bridge the digital demand between the different regions of the countries. That is why, thanks to the development of their activity, they promote development, innovation, and knowledge.

The work of these companies begins to gain even greater relevance when they manage to reach remote areas of the country that did not previously have access to internet connection networks, for example. Thus, they play an essential role in the connectivity scheme with transversal projects that integrate fiber optics and cutting-edge technology, provide proximity, ease of communication even when it comes to long distances and provide a customer service.

To further enhance and expand the positive effects of ISPs, Furukawa Electric, a manufacturer of complete solutions for Communications and Energy Networks, provides support to these companies by offering complete solutions and advanced technologies, such as Furukawa Pre-con solutions for FTTx networks. These, combined with the Full Service Furukawa concept, offer more speed and flexibility in the activation of new users and optimize installation and maintenance costs.

"Fiber optic connection is the future of the Internet because it ensures the bandwidth required by households. For this reason, at Furukawa we are working in permanent dialogue with suppliers to develop products and solutions specially designed for their needs”, says Pablo Molina, Broadband Sales Coordinator at Furukawa Electric
ISPs, in addition to meeting the needs of the market, current and future customer demand, are investing in converged access optical networks, ready to deliver high speeds, low latency, high quality of service and expand the number of connected devices. Thus, they are managing to position themselves more and more in the sector with competitive value.
